New law initiates changes in sexual assault prevention and reporting in Illinois colleges

In an attempt to increase the prevention and reporting of sexual assaults throughout the state, the Illinois legislature has passed a new law that requires colleges to undertake certain changes such as providing a confidential adviser to sex assault victims, adopting a fair process for adjudicating allegations of assault and training students and employees on preventing violence.  To read the rest of this article head to USA Today.
